Welcome to module one on my training series “How to Succeed in Network Marketing”
This is the most important part of success.
Here are some key things to remember:
- You and only you are responsible for your success or failure.
- No one is born successful and there is no such thing as an instant success.
- Every success story has 100′s of smaller stories which created the success.
Chances are you do not have the skills, knowledge or mindset to be successful or you would already be successful. Evey one who has acheived greatness has done so by learning the skills needed to accomplish the task.
With that being said on to the training.

Rob, success really does start with us…WITHIN us. When we accept that we are responsible for our own success, we’ve taken the first step towards it.
So true Eddie. One thing so many people don’t realize is that they are responsible for their own success or failure. Too many try to blame their failure on others, their company, the products, marketing materials, etc. The truth is it is their own fault. Once they realize this they can control it, than can fix it and ultimately control their outcome. Sitting back and blaming other things and feeling sorry for themselves is not going to get them anywhere. I know this will come across harsh to some people, but those are the same people who need to hear this in this way.

You have put together a fantastic training session here. The outlines are very helpful and you know what you are talking about.
My favorite part is having the right mindset. The techniques you offer here match to what we’ve learned from Jim Rohn, Zig Ziglar, Jeff Olsen and others.
You are so right in having to distance ourselves from the naysayers and be so strongly committed to what we’ve learned from those who are already successful in network marketing. Network marketing, as you said, is a strong and growing industry that can help anyone succeed with when they start out or develop the right mindset.

You are a great trainer, Robert. Thank you for putting this together, it is a great gift to newbie networkers everywhere….heck, a lot of long-time networkers need to hear this! Great stuff.
It is definitely a roller coaster, but to reach success, you have to experience failure. It’s par for the course. That’s why personal development is essential to our industry. Have a clear path (not reinventing the wheel), be consistent and persistent and you can get wherever you want to go!

I really like your 3 bullet points. They are “dead on”. There is no room for excuses if you want to be successful. You make your own breaks. To rely on someone else to give control to someone else.

Excellent stuff Rob! I totally concur with minset being the number 1 factor that will decide your level of success.
Without the right mindset, any negative occurence or slightest hardship will cause you to falter & quit. I can’t help wonder how many quit just before they may have seen success?
Personal development is ongoing – there is no single “quick course” that will turn you into the 10th wonder of the world…you need to learn spmething new about yourself & your capabilities each day – & then apply what you have learned to be able to become the person you want to be – successful!
