Hey Rob, you are speaking my language
I am a firm believer in knowing your why.
Once you dig deep, and really know your why, then my favorite saying takes over, that is when quiting become more painful than not quitting.
Thanks

Rob,
I think the “why” is very understated with most people. Or, their why isn’t big enough to stick it out. Without your why you have no desire to take action. By creating a big enough why you will achieve amazing things. I really liked your video. Well done!

You are on the money here if we don’t know our ‘why’ it is just way to easy to quit when the going gets tough. The ‘why’ helps to keep me focused and committed.

Hi Rob,
Really good stuff once again. You’re completely right. If we have the reasons that are deep, meaningful and in line with our core values we’re never giving up.
Thank you once again for putting great contect out here, it’s appreciated.

Hi Rob,
I agree your why is very important…I disagree with you on the law of attraction.
I believe you will attract to you what ever you do positive or negative. The law of attraction works both ways…

One of my whys comes from a quote by Tony Robbins … “Never having to live in that place called CONCERN”. I don’t want to ever have to worry if I have enough money for food, rent, etc. again. It’s a powerful why for me. I think that when you have been through some real struggles in life, it can trigger that desire and determination that it takes to succeed. I’ve heard a lot of stories from successful entrepreneurs about how they were so broke and even homeless before they became successful. Not wanting to ever have to go through something like that again is a powerful motivator.
It’s like they say … pain is a much better motivator than pleasure.
Another great training video Rob!! Thank you!!

HI Rob, I have not ever heard anyone go into such depth on your Why. It is all very interesting. Knowing what drives us will help move us in the direction we want to go.
I find your technique on asking for business very interesting as well, I have never heard of anyone successfully asking multiple people to do them a favor and do business with them. It must work for you. I have my doubts about our market in the Philippines using such style, I have always looked at it from what’s in it for them. I am sure from your teaching you are win-win, so thank you for the new insight.
Will have to go back and listen to the others.
Bruce
Thanks Bruce, I guess I should clarify. I am so used to training on my product and often forget people selling other products will see this.
Favor, Help, Try does work!
It woks best on people who love, know and trust you.
I do not take advantage of them. In fact I don’t expect them to buy from me unless I can provide the same or better service at the same or better price.
For different products this will work differently.
Example 1: They already use a similar service or product. This will work 90% of the time.
For instance:
My company provides everyday products and services they all already use and pay for monthly, Like Cell phone, TV, Internet Access, Home Energy, Home Telephone, Digital Phone, Digital Video Phone, etc. These are all bills they are paying already, so do me a favor works very well. I am not asking them to spend money they don’t already spend. I am only asking them to buy the same services they already use and pay for through me.
Example 2: Products they do not currently use or have never tried will be harder to use this technique.
However , imagine you are my best friend of my father and I said this to you.
“Bruce it’s Rob, I have a HUGE favor to ask of you. I’m telling you this is huge.” Wait for a reply The reply will normally be something like what is it are you in trouble, no problem, i will do anything for you what is it. ETC. Someone who loves you will want to help you.
“Well Bruce you know….. (my job is driving me crazy….. or I want to spend more time with my family…. basically, Insert your powerful why here.) I found a business (I Know can provide me the extra income to make life easier…… basically insert your goal here). I am working on reaching a bonus and I need just a few more customers to make my bonus. Can do you do me a huge favor and become my customer, just give my product a try. You will doing me a huge favor and I will be grateful for it.”
If you are my best friend or my dad and actually care about me you will try my product.
Now here is where my company probably differs from yours. We don’t provide any service or products they don’t already use so this will work better for us and our products than it will for a wellness product, or other products which are not a necessity.
That being said I do feel this method will at least get them to try your product, depending on cost. If it is a big autoship of an unneeded or unwanted product I don’t fell this method will keep them on autoship. They will have to actually receive benefit from the product to stay on autoshiop.
I moved away from unneeded products because of the difficulty of selling them and keeping people on autoship in this economy. Even business builders will leave quickly if they are spending money month after month and not making any.
Hope this helps clarify things.
Thanks for your comment it is much appreciated.
Hey Rob
Great video and I was amazed how deep you dug into everyone’s why.
I remember my first why was more like my back against the wall way before the real why surfaced.
And 2 years later my Why is basically to never ever be in this situation again.
I enjoy telling everyone who wants to listen what my goals/or whys are. Of course one of my main question is when talking to people who want to start a business, What is your biggest why?
Thanks, Thomas Lierzer

Hello Rob,
Thanks for the great video you shared. Yes,we all usually have a why for most things we all do in life.
I have a why for wanting to stay in shape so its why I go to the Gym every single week at least three times per week.
I have a why for being in Network Marketing. I love the team concept and helping others reach their goals while I help myself in the process.
I think we have a why for most things in life and its why we do certain things each and every day through out our lives.
I mean without some why’s in life…What’s the point for almost anything that we as humans do? One of my favorite things to say to people is “Why Not”
Wishing you all my best

Hey Rob,
You really did cover this completely. I love how you continue to question to dig deep for your why and what does that look like. And yes get very, very specific and if it’s a car test drive it so you can “feel” it.
Thanks for sharing,

Great cutting-edge information. I like your suggestions here. It is always important to keep digging deeper until we get to the really basic emotional reasons that are at the base of all the decisions we make. Thanks for sharing this perspective.

Hi Rob,
wow, very powerful. Knowing and feeling one’s WHY is very powerful – and indispensible. Without knowing why we are doing what we’re doing, we’re pretty much dead in the water, always looking for an easier how-to, even if the how-to in front of us is already easy.
Thanks for sharing.
Take care

Hi Rob,
What a great training video this is! It’s true that it can take a lot of digging before we really unearth our why.
I use a great little activity to help me with doing this in all areas of my life. It’s called “But why?” and requires another person to assist
The other person asks you a question. For instance, “Why do you want a network marketing business?”
You answer the question and the person writes down what you say but can only respond to your answer with, “But why?”. You allow this to continue for as long as it makes sense.
So you might have a series of questions and answers that goes something like this…
‘Why do you want a network marketing business?’
‘Because I’m sick of my job’
‘But why?’
‘I have to work too many hours’
‘But why?’
‘I have no choice.’
‘But why?’
‘It’s required of me.’
‘But why?’
‘They pay me to do it.’
‘But why?’
‘Because I need money.’
‘But why?’
‘Someone has to look after my family’
‘But why?’
and so on… It works really well when one just answers as quickly as possible so as not to give the ego time to calculate a ‘clever’ answer!
Hmmm think I may turn this into a training of my own.

Hey Rob,
It’s sort of like the toddler that keeps asking ‘why’ and you have to keep coming up with answers, isn’t it? LOL!
But what I’ve found is that if people really think about ‘why’ they want to do something it will help them to understand if what you’re doing or about to do is truly that important to you.
I’ve many times done something asking myself, ‘Why am I doing this?’. If’s it not important enough or has a worthwhile reason for you personally, you’ll stop doing it.
Great video and some great points.
Hey Robert,
Thanks for the great video. I always tell business prospects I come into contact with is that their WHY is the most important first step. The WHY is your guiding star. It will be with you through the good times and the bad times, and it will always point you in the right direction. It’s your compass.
Have a great day,
Wayne

Hi Rob,
Your why is so important in keeping the passion for your business when it’s hard to move forward. I think that there are a lot of people out there who are looking for meaning in their life and contributing to something bigger than themselves.
You are so right that it’s not about the money and I really like your technique to ask yourself “why?”, over and over again to help you dig deeper.
I’ve found for myself that my why has changed throughout my career in network marketing. I originally wanted a bigger house that would give my kids their own rooms and put us in the school district of our choice. Now that we’ve got that it’s to allow my husband to be a stay at home dad with us. (I’m sharing it here, and everywhere!)
My dream board really helps me to visualize reaching my why which helps me to stay focused on my why as well.
Great training. I will watch it again when I’m able to take notes and teach it to my team.

Hi Rob,
Spot on! It all starts with your ‘why’ and if your ‘why’ is big enough, you’ll figure out the ‘how’. So, the four letter word – ‘quit’ will not even cross your mind.
Thanks for the inspiration.

Hey Rob,
I loved this video and it was in real depth which many people need, they may not know they need it but, they do. I was halfway to really knowing my why until I watched a presentation by Simon Sinek that explains “Start with Why” a book he wrote.
I have started reading his book and it does really open your ideas to many different things about why – people don’t buy what you do but “why” you do it.
As you started talking about conscious and subconscious decisions it reminded me that I have also started reading Anything Fast which has you complete many different exercises to really drive positive results.
Thank you for the great video – I know it took a great deal of time and effort but you will see great things come back to you for sharing!
Robert thanks for you comment and participation on my Blog I truly appreciate it.
I agree with you most people discount the importance of having strong why.
I was one of them, for years I brushed this off as unimportant. It wasn’t until I embraced this and found my true why that my business went to the next level. Now I couldn’t imagine having a goal without a why.
Rob,
My ‘WHY’ is what pushes me forward and what helps me capture my goals.
I think it is one of the most powerful thinks we can use to help build and grow our business.
If you can sit back and think about your ‘WHY’, it can sum up everything about your business and the decisions you make in life.
Great job with the video!
