Hey Rob,
This is a great resource module for network marketers, or even for anyone that works from home. It is so important to have a clutter free, dedicated work space . Treating our business properly is the only way to achieve real success.
Beth
Thanks Beth, you know you’re right I may want to rethink the title “How to succeed in Network Marketing”.
Most of this information will cross over to any business.
I think you just gave me an idea for my next product…
Hope you don’t want any royalties
Hi Rob,
Enjoyed your module 2 of training! You are so right to talk about how network marketing is not a rich quick business. So many people got burned thinking it is. Anything that is worth it – takes time and effort. Excellent training .., thanks!
Your welcome Lesly
Hi Rob,
Some great advice there on every slide. The PC and internet is an awesome tool for running out business but we can get lost if we follow all the distractions, exactly as you say.
Thanks again.
Regards,
Andrew
Thanks Andrew, as soon as I learned this my business really started to take off. You know what they say keep doing the same things over and over and you will keep getting teh same results over and over.
Take care bud.
Rob
Excellent video Robert
I am lucky, I have a home office, so no distractions there.
Everything else I schedule and I schedule time off where I do not feel guilty about taking time off.
On the other hand when I schedule work I work.
That means I could watch LOST when it was on
Good stuff Robert
Your friend Peter
Good point about scheduling time off so you don’t feel guilty..
LOL Love the Lost comment….
It’s funny cuz that reference came from a friend of mine who was always complaining about always being broke and his business was not taking off. Evey time I called him he was watching TV. Seemed like every time we talked he was watching Lost.
That comment was more directed at people who work a 40 hour job and a home business. They are trying to be successful in their home business but spend all their free time watching TV.
IF we are only working from home and put in a solid 8 hours a day on our business then I will allow a few episodes of Lost….. LOL
Thanks buddy
Rob,
Wow, I am going to have to go back and start at module 1. I know distraction has been one of my downfalls until finally I said, ok shut the office door and get down to work. Shut down Facebook and Skype and concentrate on doing productive work.
I look forward to reviewing these additional modules.
Great information!
Tamra
TY Tamra, I hope you enjoy the other modules and get a something out of them as well. I still to this day get consumed by distractions. They are everywhere, and come at us all the time. Closing Skype and Facebook is a good way to stay focused.
Yes, there will always be distractions….as we speak my 3 year old is adamently telling me he needs crackers right before dinner!
You are great with trainings, Rob. Good lighting and clean, organized work spaces, good contact management systems and consistent schedules are all essential. I’m a big fan of vision boards and have one right where I look most of the day.
Thanks so much for this ~ a huge value to networkers, and I really appreciate your trainings.
Thanks Beth, I know all about 3 year olds, I have one who has to sit on daddy’s lap while he is working. What a joy, he is one distraction that makes my day!
Rob
Great advice on distractions Rob. I think that a lot of it comes down to self-discipline.

Being a network marketer myself, I really resonated with your post. Especially the get rich quick part. If you treat it like a real business, you would never quit, nor would you work on it “spare time”. You would work “real hours” everyday, and would expect to see growth over time.
Cheers,
Mike

With a 4 year old, focusing is a constant challenge. Since I built my office, with a nice outlook, it has been much easier.
Still, it takes constant discipline to get things done.
Anyone who understands the rewards available in Network Marketing, and the small amount of time it takes to maintain your position once you put in the hard yards to build the business, would be mad to look at any other business model!
I am so gland I took the time to establish myself in this industry.

Bravo to you John, being established is a great thing. I sure wish I knew what I know know when I got started 12 years ago. WOW. LOL
Hi Rob,
what a powerful training, I love it. It’s an entire success training that goes way beyond network marketing and home-based business. What you say holds true for any type of endeavour we engage in. Distractions are plentiful, only being laser-focused and having burning desire is a remedy for that.
Thanks for sharing your powerful insights.
Take care

Hey Rob,
Oh you hit so many great points. One that stands out to me is the office.
The first 9 months of working online I did it without an office. It was TOUGH, especially with 4 kids.
You’re so right about sticking to the same company and making it happen.
I love the way you ended it.
